Office Bearers
The Office Bearers are responsible for the core leadership and operational management of the church. They play a vital role in its day-to-day functioning.
Managing Committee
The Managing Committee manages the church's activities. It consists of the office bearers, vice office bearers, and other general body elected members.
Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam
The Vanitha Samajam is the ladies group, and is an integral part of our church. They contribute to the church with charity work, 24-hour chain prayers, etc. The group focuses on the women within the Jacobite community, working on various social, educational, and cultural initiatives. The group seeks to embody the values of St. Mary—her devotion to Christ, her role as a mother, and her service to others. As a result, the Vanitha Samajam often carries the spirit of Mary in its name and actions, providing a spiritual and communal space for women to grow in faith, support each other, and contribute to society. The church vicar and assistant vicar lead the group with representatives carrying out the administrative leadership.
Mor Baselious Youth Association
The youth group consists of the church's younger members, aged 21+. They do charity work and community service, as well as group activities. This group focuses on fostering unity and spiritual growth among the youth, while also encouraging them to contribute to the community. The youth engage in a wide range of activities that promote both social and spiritual development, helping to create a strong bond among the members while serving the church and the society. They work alongside the church's leadership to ensure that the next generation continues the church's mission and values.
Sunday School
The Sunday School is a place for the children of the church to learn about God and our church history. It is available for members aged 4 - 18. The Sunday School aims to provide a solid spiritual foundation for the children and helps them grow in faith through age-appropriate lessons, Bible stories, and activities. The children are taught about the importance of love, kindness, and service to others. The Sunday School teachers play an integral role in guiding the young minds in their faith journey, making it an essential part of our church community.
